well, i figured i might as well update this thing. not as if anyone other than myself reads it.. but then again, that doesn't exactly seem like keeping a journal to me, when you write.. expecting others to view it.

online journals lack intimacy. they don't hold the appeal that a worn notebook does. they don't have the character of a pencil on the verge of breaking due to too much pressure. (..metaphor for life, anyone?)

popular among the masses because we're all curious. curious, and intrusive.

i am, much to my dismay, part of the masses. i want to know what's going on in the elderly womans head who's sitting three seats ahead of me on the bus. i think in my arrogant mindset, that i deserve to know. i am the american public.

and so i read these stupid fucking things, and attempt to separate myself.
